It was time to try something else.
The main priority here was to be able to change the look of the watch index itself, to make it more stylizable.
It was not completely what I wanted but it worked.

Analog and digital watch face for the Gear Fit 2 with

• date, battery counter (gradually colored),
  steps counter (colored progression), heart rate monitor
• links to: scheduler, alarm, timer, stopwatch, music player, weather, battery status, settings
• always-on mode.
• 9 different background colors
• 8 different watch indexes

Double tap the watch index to modify the index, and double tap the background (down-under) to modify the background.
